Prairie Dog Information
Posted on Oct 1st, 2020
One of the blessings of living in Silver Springs is the close proximity to wildlife. Many of us can look out our window at just about any time of day and see foxes, coyotes, skunks, a hawk, rabbits and “yes” a prairie dog. Many Silver Springs residents may not recognize that the HOA provides quarterly prairie dog mitigation on Tract A & B on the south side of Iola Street and 155th Place. The primary purpose of providing this service is to help ensure that prairie dogs do not form a colony on an adjacent homeowner’s property or nearby neighbor. Below is a link to the full information sheet prepared for Silver Springs homeowners regarding these animals.
